TL;DR

Senior Accountant (AI Infrastructure): Establish and own financial operations foundation including full-cycle accounting, AP/AR, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting for a scaling GPU marketplace and AI cloud platform with an accent on compliance, sales tax across jurisdictions, and revenue recognition. Focus on building processes from scratch, coordinating audits, and ensuring billing accuracy in a two-sided marketplace with global suppliers and customers.

What you will do

• Own full accounting cycle: AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and support budgeting processes.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and partners for compliance and reporting.
• Establish accounting policies, internal controls, and sales tax compliance across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations on billing, revenue recognition, and financial data integrity.
• Build and document financial processes from the ground up in a high-growth environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years in full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, month-end close)
• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
• Deep GAAP knowledge and financial reporting standards
• Experience with QuickBooks and implementing AI accounting systems
• Strong Excel, financial modeling, detail-oriented accuracy
• Self-starter for building processes in fast-paced startup; excellent communication
