What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for vehicle data management, simulations, scripted analyses, and software management.
• Build high-performance REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs connecting microservices, partner systems, and front-end interfaces.
• Develop data storage, retrieval, and ETL pipelines for complex processing and analytics.
• Optimize server performance, database queries, latency, throughput, and cloud scalability.
• Manage reliable cloud deployments using infrastructure as code, and develop unit, integration, and load testing plans.
• Collaborate with embedded systems engineers, data scientists, and front-end developers while documenting architectures, data models, and APIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of software development experience focused on backend engineering, distributed systems, or cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, C++, or Node.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis, and complex query optimization.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, resilient distributed systems, Terraform or Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, secure coding, data privacy, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
