Team Member Care Advocate (Mental Health)

Team Member Care Advocate (Mental Health): Connecting employees of a Fortune 500 retail company to community and company resources to address social determinants of health with an accent on mental health navigation and social work. Focus on coordinating crisis intervention, managing resource referrals, and optimizing employee access to behavioral health treatment.

Location: Hybrid. Must be based in Hawaii (Virtual Mondays; on-site in Kapolei on Tuesdays/Thursdays and in Kailua on Wednesdays/Fridays).

Salary: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour

What you will do

• Connect employees to local and national work-life, financial, legal, and basic needs support.
• Navigate mental health resources and workplace benefits, including onsite Mental Health Coaches.
• Link employees to mental health treatment options (hirify.global, insurance, emergent services) and provide application support.
• Document and track outcomes, including reasons for social work involvement and referral success rates.
• Build relationships with customer contacts and promote care advocate services to employees.
• Submit routine reporting on client and organizational activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in the social work industry working with diverse populations.
• Depth of knowledge in connecting individuals to local and national community resources.
• Ability to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders with flexibility and creativity.
• Proficiency with various computer platforms in a tech-enabled environment.
• Must be available for on-site work in Kapolei and Kailua, HI.
