What you will do

• Provide consultative guidance to Highmark partners on Enterprise Informatics analyses.
• Design and implement new analytic models and methodologies for profiling providers and assessing patient outcomes.
• Lead special complex studies and projects to solve unique problems identified by management and business partners.
• Develop and maintain complex computer programs using 4GL programming languages and advanced database/SQL technology.
• Integrate data obtained from external sources with internal Highmark data.
• Execute all facets of the Informatics project management process and lead multiple project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
• 10-15 years experience in support of a Marketing function or Data Analyst role.
• 10-15 years experience querying relational databases utilizing 4GL programming languages such as SAS and SQL.
• 10-15 years experience performing project management activities.
• Strong knowledge of Highmark business areas, their processes, and data flows.
• Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, techniques, and reimbursement mechanisms.
