TL;DR

Technical Business Analyst – Healthcare Data Reporting: Serve as liaison between technical/reporting teams and client-facing departments, translating business needs into technical specifications and managing reporting workflows with an accent on healthcare data analysis and operational efficiency. Focus on analyzing claims/accumulators data, writing SQL queries for validation, and supporting Power BI/Databricks dashboards.

Location: Hybrid - Dallas, Texas highly preferred (3x in office/week minimum)

What you will do

• Act as primary conduit between outbound reporting team and client-facing groups like Client Success, Implementation, and Partnerships.
• Facilitate requirement gathering, translate business needs into technical specs, and refine intake requests.
• Manage reporting workflows, prioritization, and KPIs in partnership with Healthcare Data Reporting Senior Manager.
• Analyze healthcare data (accumulators, claims, eligibility, benefits) and end-to-end data flows from ETL to client reports.
• Write SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and exploratory analysis.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and BI analysts on dashboards, visualizations, and Databricks processes.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of healthcare data including claim files, accumulators, plan structures, and industry datasets
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven analytical/problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage priorities, workflows, and drive timely outcomes

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare payer, TPA, pharmacy benefits, or analytics
• Prior operational process improvement or KPI development
• Familiarity with ETL, data pipelines, or data engineering processes
• Background supporting custom reporting or client-facing analytics
