Post Closing Bond Team Lead (Mortgage)

What you will do

• Lead daily operations for the Bond Post Closing team, including pipeline management, workflow optimization, assignments, and workload balancing.
• Perform first-tier reviews of escalated files and provide guidance or resolutions within 48 hours.
• Monitor investor portals, condition reports, suspended loans, purchased loans, and warehouse-line timelines.
• Ensure accurate loan-file documentation, timely follow-up, compliance with investor guidelines, and avoidance of suspense fees.
• Coach employees, support onboarding and training, and monitor productivity against production requirements and SLAs.
• Identify process trends, submit at least two process-improvement suggestions monthly, and assist with quality-control reporting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in a post-closing role and 2+ years in a team lead or senior post-closing role.
• Experience with loan programs, investor conditions and exceptions, agency guidelines, overlays, and regulatory rules.
• Excellent communication, customer service, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain established service levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
