Director Business Development (Learning and Development): Strategically positioning and selling learning and development solutions to pharmaceutical budget holders within Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and R&D. Focus on developing client relationships, crafting solutions, and leading pricing negotiations to meet profitability targets.

What you will do

  • Set up meetings with key decision-makers to identify, qualify, consult, and close opportunities.
  • Proactively target and expand new and existing accounts by creating and updating Strategic Account Development Plans.
  • Consult and collaborate with internal service delivery teams to craft appropriate solutions for unique business requirements.
  • Write proposals, develop presentations, and draft SOWs as part of the sales process.
  • Manage and track pipeline and opportunities via hirify.global’ opportunity management process.
  • Provide direction and input towards targeted Marketing initiatives, including attendance at key industry conferences.

Requirements

  • Minimum educational requirement is a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Prior experience with consistently achieving quotas in the range of $2M+.
  • 7-10 years of proven experience selling Learning and Development services and/or Medical Communication Services and products to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to break into new accounts and grow client relationships across functional areas and levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience using SalesForce as a CRM tool for pipeline and opportunity tracking.
