Senior Overhead Transmission Line Structural Engineer (Engineering): Designing and analyzing transmission line structures for large-scale 345kV+ rebuild and greenfield projects with an accent on structural steel and foundation design. Location: Hybrid; must be based in or be able to relocate to specified US offices (KS, TX, MI, FL, OR, NC, AZ)

What you will do

• Perform design engineering and structural analysis for transmission scopes, including HVDC and 765kV projects.
• Prepare complex engineering calculations and research in accordance with industry and company standards.
• Develop recommendations for equipment and materials while managing budget and schedule requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineering team members.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define project schedules and ensure quality compliance.
• Serve as a technical specialist for complex technical challenges across multiple high-voltage projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background checks and drug screens.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Strong experience in 69kV to 500kV overhead transmission line design.

Nice to have

• Expertise in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
• Experience with utility-scale electrical transmission systems and structural design of steel structures and foundations.
• Knowledge of 3D analysis and design software for steel and concrete.
• Previous client interaction experience and relationship-building abilities.
