What you will do

• Perform engineering calculations to compute stresses in crane runway structures using static, dynamic, and fatigue failure theories.
• Evaluate structural steel runway strength and fatigue life for projects in the United States and Canada.
• Utilize RISA 3D and in-house analytical tools to ensure calculations conform to AISC/ASCE/CSA/CMAA specifications.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support during onsite installation, commissioning, and warranty periods.
• Collaborate with sales teams during the quotation phase to provide guidance on design options for complex projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the product engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification, with a desire or plan to obtain a PE license.
• 3-5 years of related industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASCE and IBC codes, including seismic conditions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex functions) and CAD programs.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AISC/CSA and CMAA standards.
• Experience with electric overhead traveling (EOT) cranes.
