What you will do
- Lead the design and development of roads, highways, and transit systems.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and monitor progress.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation design and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design tools.
- Strong knowledge of transportation engineering principles and standards.
- Must be based in San Luis Obispo, California.
