What you will do

• Lead the design and development of roads, highways, and transit systems.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and monitor progress.
• Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation design and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design tools.
• Strong knowledge of transportation engineering principles and standards.
• Must be based in San Luis Obispo, California.
