What you will do
- Manage the deal pipeline and conduct initial screening for opportunities in AI, robotics, longevity, and digital assets.
- Lead end-to-end due diligence using institutional VC frameworks and build complex financial models from scratch.
- Produce institutional-quality investment memos and co-present deals to the Investment Committee.
- Coordinate SPV formation and legal compliance (Reg D 506(c)) with outside counsel.
- Build proprietary deal flow through VC syndicates, angel networks, and direct founder outreach.
- Mentor and review the work of analyst-level hires as the team scales.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of full-time experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or strategic finance at a high-growth startup.
- Proven track record of leading due diligence on at least one closed deal.
- Advanced financial modeling skills, including cohort analyses, LTV/CAC, and cap-table waterfalls.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create high-quality investment memos.
- Ability to operate at a fast pace in a high-trust, low-bureaucracy environment.
- Confidence in interacting with accredited investors and operators.
Nice to have
- Experience underwriting AI infrastructure, robotics, longevity/biotech, or digital-asset deals.
- Fluency in tokenomics and on-chain metrics.
- CFA, MBA, or equivalent credential.
- Network across Tier-1 VC funds, angel syndicates, or family offices.
- Prior exposure to SPV mechanics, Reg D 506(c) compliance, or QSBS.
