Financial Analyst

TL;DR

Financial Analyst (FP&A): Own budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and performance analytics across AI services business units with an accent on partnering directly with founder-CEOs. Focus on designing operating models, scenario planning for growth, and translating performance into actionable insights.

Location: Remote (United States, quarterly travel for offsites)

What you will do

• Design and coordinate annual budgeting and rolling forecasts with business units, including margin analysis and ad-hoc reporting.
• Partner with BU founders on hiring plans, performance insights, opportunities, risks, and tradeoffs.
• Build operating models for new and existing BUs to support investment decisions and growth scenario planning.
• Develop dashboards, KPI tracking, and standardized reporting to drive data-driven decisions across BUs.
• Identify automation opportunities and integrate AI-driven analytics into reporting processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of FP&A experience
• Experience in SaaS, services, holding companies, or venture environments
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Advanced Excel/Sheets capabilities
• Experience with QuickBooks data environments preferred
• High communication skills to partner with founder-CEOs
