What you will do

• Assist with security design solutions for federal facilities, including data centers, headquarters, and SCIF designs.
• Support the design of electronic access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance (CCTV) systems.
• Prepare design drawings, security system specifications, and basis of design documents.
• Utilize Revit and Bluebeam for modeling, drawing production, and markups.
• Collaborate with project teams and client stakeholders on conceptual design and QA/QC processes.
• Support the development of cost estimates and materials lists.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC).
• Familiarity with Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC).
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) certification is preferred.
