Structural Engineer - Concrete and Steel Structures (Wind Industry)(m/f/d)

Develops and manufactures wind turbines and related tower solutions for renewable energy generation.

What you will do

• Perform structural verifications for concrete and steel structures in tower development projects.
• Design and evaluate tubular steel, concrete, and hybrid towers, including anchor cages.
• Collaborate with internal and external experts, suppliers, and project stakeholders to develop robust engineering solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and project deliverables according to internal project management standards.
• Lead root cause analyses for field issues and support the implementation of fast, cost-effective solutions on site.
• Drive cost-of-energy reduction, productivity improvements, lessons learned, and product standardization.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in comparable engineering roles.
• Solid knowledge of IEC 61400-6, Eurocodes, Model Codes, and DIBt guidelines.
• Experience with finite element analysis using Ansys or Abaqus, plus knowledge of bolted flange connections, pretensioning systems, and fatigue analysis.
• Advanced programming skills; Python is a strong asset.
• Fluent English required. German and Spanish are advantageous. Foreign qualifications must be recognized as the corresponding Spanish qualification.
