Location: Valencia, California, United States; remote project performance is required, with field walks at industrial sites.

What you will do

• Perform conventional and complex structural analysis and design for advanced manufacturing and industrial facilities.
• Apply wind and seismic analysis methods using IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC requirements.
• Develop and validate steel and concrete structures using STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
• Perform QA/QC reviews, peer calculation checks, and code-compliance verification.
• Own structural scopes, including effort forecasting, budget management, schedule adherence, and scope-change escalation.
• Provide technical mentorship and conduct field walks to assess existing conditions or verify installations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license is advantageous.
• At least 10 years of structural engineering experience, preferably with industrial or high-tech facilities.
• Expert knowledge of US building codes and seismic provisions.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to provide reliable home internet and perform field walks in industrial environments, including standing for extended periods and navigating ladders or specialized utility floors.
