What you will do

• Define and evolve the countrywide catastrophe risk management approach and enterprise-wide strategy.
• Establish concentration risk thresholds and develop portfolio diversification strategies.
• Translate catastrophe model insights into actionable underwriting and pricing strategies.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across underwriting, actuarial, reinsurance, and analytics teams.
• Monitor catastrophe exposure and total insured values across various geographies and perils.
• Provide subject matter expertise on climate impacts and emerging modeling approaches to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, risk management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in personal lines insurance product management, underwriting, or catastrophe risk management.
• Strong understanding of catastrophe modeling outputs and their application in pricing and portfolio management.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects through influence rather than direct authority.
• Must have authorization to work indefinitely in the US (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Ability to travel as needed for team meetings and industry events.

Nice to have

• CPCU and/or Actuarial exam certifications.
• Experience analyzing macroeconomic trends and inflation impacts on total insured values.
