• Design and build frontend systems that power a new consumer credit experience.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building production frontend and backend systems, preferably for B2C applications.
• Strong technical background in distributed systems and event-driven architecture (Kafka, SQS, Kinesis).
• Proficiency in OOP languages (Java, Kotlin, C#, Python, or Ruby) and relational databases.
• Must be based in the United States and operate across U.S. time zones.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in ambiguous, early-stage product environments.
• Active usage of AI tools in professional engineering workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience at B2C fintech companies with millions of users.
• Background in backend systems for payments, credit, or high-scale workflows.
• Experience with schema evolution and safe data migrations (Protobuf, Avro).
• Interest in building agentic systems or applying LLMs to software development.
