TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI): Building and optimizing AI-powered career products for millions of users with an accent on end-to-end ownership, scalable architecture, and high-performance web applications. Focus on designing complex features, integrating AI workflows, and balancing rapid delivery with long-term system quality.

Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Hybrid role with regular in-office presence required)

Salary: $200,000 - $220,000 per year

What you will do

  • Design and build AI-powered products and features that deliver meaningful user impact.
  • Develop and maintain scalable backend services and user-facing applications.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-impact features.
  • Make structural technical decisions and articulate trade-offs for complex problems.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of product areas, services, or technical domains.
  • Improve system performance, reliability, and developer experience.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong foundation in programming and software design principles.
  • Proven experience building performant modern web applications.
  • Production experience with React or Next.js.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: Go, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Must be based in or able to work from New York, NY.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, or AI integration.
  • Search infrastructure experience (Elasticsearch).
  • Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS).
  • Database optimization experience (MariaDB).
  • Experience with modern frontend tooling like Vite.
