What you will do
- Build and optimize scalable full-stack applications using TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and modern JS frameworks.
- Develop clean and maintainable code across frontend and backend, including Ruby and Python.
- Lead architectural design discussions to improve system reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and technical coaching.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and PMO stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Identify and execute technical improvements to increase system performance and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Track record of shipping large, complex software projects in production environments.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Experience with backend development using Ruby, Python, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Ability to design scalable software architecture and communicate the business value of technical decisions.
- Experience mentoring engineers and operating in fast-paced startup environments.
- Must be based in one of the listed US states or Ontario, Canada; no visa sponsorship available.
