Fullstack Staff Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and design of scalable, high-performance distributed fullstack systems.
• Write production-grade code and lead complex refactors and performance optimization efforts.
• Establish engineering standards, design principles, and best practices across the organization.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to evaluate trade-offs between scalability, cost, and security.
• Mentor engineers through in-depth code reviews and technical guidance.
• Identify system bottlenecks and influence the long-term technical strategy and roadmap.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Staff, Principal, or Senior Software Engineer in fullstack environments.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Strong backend experience with Golang and/or Python.
• Expertise in designing distributed systems, scalable APIs, and cloud-native architectures using AWS.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Fluent or native English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or transaction-heavy platforms.
• Background in building high-availability, low-latency systems.
• Familiarity with regulated financial environments, such as PCI-DSS.
