What you will do
- Lead the water and wastewater infrastructure planning business in the California market.
- Provide technical solutions and differentiation for water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
- Perform analysis and projections of water demands and wastewater flows to evaluate system capacity and resilience.
- Utilize hydraulic modeling, GIS, and data visualization software to solve complex client issues.
- Develop and prioritize capital improvement programs using risk-based assessments.
- Lead marketing, business development, and technical discussions during proposals and client interviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.
- Minimum 11 years of experience in infrastructure assessment, including hydraulic modeling and master planning.
- Proven experience in client-facing leadership and managing project teams.
- Proficiency in data analytics, report writing, and GIS technology (ArcGIS).
- Must be based in or able to work from Sacramento, San Jose, or Walnut Creek, CA.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with dynamic data visualization software such as PowerBI.
- Experience with hydraulic modeling software: InfoWorks, ICM, OpenFlows Water/Sewer, InfoWater Pro, EPANet, EPASWMM, or PCSWMM.
