Water Resources Senior Engineer

Location: Must be based in San Luis Obispo, California

Salary: $129,000 - $166,500

What you will do

• Lead and manage water resource projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions for water management and conservation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute projects.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in water resources engineering.
• Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and water resource management principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, and GIS tools.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
