Strategic Sourcing Leader (AI): Leading complex technology sourcing across enterprise and engineering technology categories with an accent on shaping supplier strategy and negotiating critical agreements. Focus on translating technical needs, security requirements, and long-term operating priorities into clear sourcing strategies.

Location: Based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

Salary: $266K – $295K + Offers Equity

What you will do

• Lead sourcing strategy and execution across enterprise and engineering technology categories.
• Independently define, prioritize, and lead multiple complex sourcing workstreams, shaping supplier strategy and commercial decisions.
• Own strategic supplier negotiations, including major renewals and enterprise license agreements.
• Manage and develop experienced category leads, creating clarity and improving commercial judgment.
• Build scalable category tools and frameworks, including category cards and negotiation playbooks.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate technical roadmaps, security requirements, and supplier constraints into sourcing strategies.

Requirements

• Recognized sourcing expert with deep experience across enterprise technology, infrastructure software, or adjacent technology categories.
• Experience leading complex, high-stakes supplier negotiations, balancing cost, leverage, and risk.
• Ability to independently lead multiple complex workstreams and shape strategic decisions in ambiguous environments.
• Experience managing experienced sourcing professionals or category leads.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders through strong communication and structured thinking.
• Experience building scalable sourcing tools or operating mechanisms.
