Supplier Industrialization Engineer (Power Electronics)

What you will do

• Manage supplier development and quality across the supplier network.
• Perform technical capability assessments and drive manufacturing process improvement initiatives.
• Lead supplier qualification to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and timely delivery of critical components.
• Drive DFM reviews and assembly stack-up tolerance analysis to meet design requirements.
• Facilitate technical communication between suppliers and internal design, GSM, and manufacturing teams.
• Identify and implement cost reduction activities via process and material optimization.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in supplier development and/or supplier quality.
• BS degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes for mechanical, electrical (PCB/PCBA), and electro-mechanical components.
• Proficiency in drawing reviews, tolerance stack-ups, metrology, and statistical analysis (SPC, DOE).
• Comprehensive understanding of quality systems: ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP.
• Willingness to travel 75%+ across China and internationally on short notice.

Nice to have

• Experience in power semiconductors, injection molding, stamping, or PCBA processes.
• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with ERP and PLM tools for BOM control and change management.
• Data visualization skills using Tableau, JMP, or Minitab.
