What you will do

• Implement and conduct innovation ideas for CMF technology projects to enable product diversity, inclusivity, sustainability, and customization.
• Partner with product marketing, ID, ME, CMF design to perform engineering design: DFM, GD&T, SPC, DOE, materials selection, trials, qualification, painting/printing/plating processes, on-site troubleshooting.
• Manage and partner with molding and CMF suppliers for smooth process ramp-up and mass production in NPI.
• Provide CMF consulting, training, and support to Suzhou site teams (ME, QA, Commodity, PMs).
• Support supplier audits for new tech and cost-down on existing technologies.

Requirements

• University degree in chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, materials science, printing technology, mechanical engineering or related.
• 5+ years as CMF/ME engineer; 5+ years in electronics/sports goods industries with molding, painting, printing, plastic decoration.
• 3+ years managing suppliers in high-volume production; 3+ years as project engineer.
• Technical skills in CMF design, materials (plastic, metal, composites), color/appearance management, finishing techniques (printing, painting, IMD).
• Fluent English (reading, speaking, writing); good communication; attention to detail; flexible in fast-paced environment.
• Able to work in global multi-cultural team; willing to travel; work with overseas suppliers.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with thermal elastomer and related molding processes.
