Salary: $220,000 - $300,000 a year

What you will do

• Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing industrial design team, fostering a culture of creativity and rigor.
• Evolve the hardware design language and strategy to redefine the future of the robotaxi.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from initial concept to production and real-world deployment.
• Partner with engineering, UX, and product teams to deliver technically feasible and cohesive solutions.
• Create and oversee compelling digital and physical deliverables for executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage studio resources, budgets, and hiring while refining internal design processes.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in automotive or relevant industrial design environments.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing design teams.
• Proven track record of delivering production vehicles or complex hardware products from concept to launch.
• Strong experience managing studio workflows and cross-functional collaboration.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills for executive-level presentations.
• Must be able to work on-site in Foster City, CA
