What you will do

  • Conduct quality audits at job sites to ensure efficient and cost-effective route work.
  • Perform NIM job audits post-turnover to identify reliability issues and provide improvement feedback.
  • Provide hands-on technical assistance to mechanics, including troubleshooting and on-the-job training.
  • Analyze accounting reports to review route profitability and callbacks.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to provide technical input and calculate labor/material costs for repair bids.
  • Order necessary materials and maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local industry codes.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Manhattan, NY.
  • Thorough knowledge of the construction industry and general management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree OR two years of experience managing at a branch departmental level.
  • Ability to write technical reports, contract proposals, and business correspondence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collect data and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
