What you will do

• Underwrite Non-QM and Non-Agency loan products, including Bank Statement Income Analysis, Asset Depletion, DSCR, and Foreign National loans.
• Manage a loan pipeline of new applications and resubmissions to meet standard service level agreements.
• Examine loan files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with investor and agency guidelines.
• Communicate loan decisions clearly and concisely to sales and operations staff.
• Upload all necessary approval documentation and signatures into company software systems.
• Collaborate with the Post-Closing department to resolve stipulations for closed files.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of mortgage underwriting experience.
• Proven experience with Non-QM, Non-Agency, and manual underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and disclosure requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Experience with Encompass LOS.
