Senior Fullstack Developer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Developer (Golang/React/TypeScript): Developing and maintaining mission-critical financial products for the Invoicing team with an accent on event-driven distributed systems and scalable microservices. What you will do

• Lead the system design and architecture for large-scale, robust, and maintainable financial features.
• Develop and maintain core functionality using Golang, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks like React or Angular.
• Break down high-level requirements into development tasks and manage release schedules and priorities for stakeholders.
• Mentor team members, conduct rigorous code reviews, and elevate overall coding standards.
• Drive continuous improvement of software delivery processes and participate in production on-call rotations.
• Actively contribute to the recruitment process and the growth of the engineering workforce.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Software Developer, ideally within a SaaS product company.
• Proven expertise in designing event-driven distributed systems, microservices, and reliable data pipelines.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Golang, TypeScript, and React/Angular.
• Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• English: Fluency required as the primary working language.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
• Knowledge of data storage technologies like Redis, Google Cloud Datastore, or Elasticsearch.
• Prior experience in the Financial Services domain.
