Salary: $130k-$190k USD (US); $140k-$200k CAD (Canada)

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable APIs for human and AI agent clients
• Develop agent interfaces, MCP servers, and A2A communication layers
• Implement real-time advertising transaction systems at scale
• Design robust architectures with staff engineers
• Collaborate with product and design on agent-friendly API contracts
• Integrate and experiment with emerging agent frameworks and protocols
• Participate in design reviews and improve system reliability

Requirements

• 5+ years building backend or fullstack systems
• Strong API development experience (REST or event-driven)
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and React
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS)
• Familiarity with distributed systems (scalability, reliability, observability)
• Interest in AI agent systems, LLMs, or autonomous workflows
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP, A2A protocols
• Background in ad tech or marketplace platforms
• Real-time or high-throughput systems
