Location: Oakville, Ontario; Toronto, Ontario; Waterloo, Ontario - Canada (flexible hybrid model, encouraged to visit offices)

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 CAD

What you will do

• Define, design, and implement new software applications using industry standards and best practices in collaboration with development teams.
• Translate storyboards into functional applications with test-driven and security-driven development, plus comprehensive code reviews.
• Develop prototypes, MVPs, and PoCs with Technology Development team and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot bugs by analyzing call stacks, trace files, debug logs, and performance data.
• Maintain code quality, organization, automation, and existing applications.
• Evaluate functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and architecture; provide design documents for maintenance and reuse.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in software development or related field.
• Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Software Engineering, or related.
• Experience with Linux, C#, .Net, object-oriented design, unit testing, optimization, multithreaded programming.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6, CSS, HTML, .Net Core.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, Azure (Google Compute Engine, BigQuery).
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written/oral communication skills.
