TL;DR
SDR (Sales Development Representative) (Observability): Generate enterprise and mid-market sales opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting and strategic discovery around modern observability (logs, metrics, traces, and security). Focus on building pipeline with technical credibility across cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, microservices) and partnering daily with Account Executives to execute territory plans.
Location: Hybrid — 3 days a week from the Boston office (Financial District)
Salary: $70,000–$95,000 on-target earnings

What you will do
- Develop sales pipeline by running targeted outbound prospecting into Enterprise and Mid-Market accounts across the US.
- Act as an observability subject matter expert and lead discovery calls with DevOps and Engineering leaders.
- Create personalized, value-based messaging for cloud-native pain points across AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, and microservices.
- Partner daily with Account Executives on territory plans, account mapping, and multi-threaded outreach.
- Use Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, and AI tools (Claude, Gemini, GPT) to optimize the sales funnel.
- Track competitors and communicate ’s differentiators; discuss technical concepts like OpenTelemetry, log aggregation, and Kubernetes monitoring.
Requirements
- Experience in observability, monitoring, or cloud infrastructure (prior experience is a massive plus).
- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts such as OpenTelemetry, log aggregation, and Kubernetes monitoring.
- Elite verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage complex organizations and reach C-level/VP-level stakeholders.
- Strong outbound prospecting skills and persistence in generating qualified opportunities.
- Hybrid availability: work from the Boston office 3 days per week.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
