Sales Development Representative (SaaS): Driving pipeline generation and opportunity development for a leading Customer Data Platform with an accent on outbound prospecting, strategic account research, and multi-channel engagement. Focus on leveraging AI-powered tools and data-driven insights to navigate complex enterprise technology environments and achieve measurable sales outcomes.

Location: Must be based in or near San Diego, CA. This role follows a hybrid model with an expectation of working in the office approximately three days per week.

Salary: $50,000–$70,000 base salary (Total Target Earnings: $70,000–$95,000).

What you will do

  • Proactively generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and personalized multi-channel engagement.
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop territory and account-based strategies.
  • Conduct high-level discovery conversations with executive stakeholders to identify business challenges.
  • Research and navigate complex enterprise technology environments to inform outreach.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and data analytics to optimize prospecting workflows and engagement.
  • Qualify and prioritize inbound marketing leads to support go-to-market initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in Sales Development, Inside Sales, or a related SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively generate pipeline and manage outbound efforts.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate complex customer environments.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI-enabled tools and modern sales technologies.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in the San Diego office approximately three days per week.
