DevOps Engineer (EdTech)

Location: Remote within the UK or within GMT +/-2 hours time zone. Main office in London with monthly in-person events.

What you will do

• Leverage AI tools to orchestrate the rapid development and improvement of environments and supporting infrastructure.
• Maintain and monitor the entire infrastructure estate in collaboration with the DevOps team.
• Build and deploy new services within cloud-hosted environments.
• Respond to incidents on critical environments and drive their resolution.
• Act as a force multiplier for the engineering team to enable safe and secure product shipping.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, networking, and cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and proficiency with Git.
• Comfortable with software development or scripting.
• Proven track record of implementing cyber security best practices.
• Must be based in the UK or within the GMT +/-2 hours time zone.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Linkerd service mesh.
• Proficiency with Hashicorp Terraform and Vault.
• Experience with CockroachDB, MySQL, and general low-level database understanding.
• Knowledge of GCP and Cloudflare product suites.
