What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure to support production and development environments.
• Automate deployment processes and optimize system performance to ensure 24/7 platform uptime across the globe.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and support development and operations initiatives.
• Manage the entire DevOps Engineering Life Cycle, from initial concept and design to release and maintenance.
• Deploy highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale using Azure cloud native technologies, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Participate in the team's on-call rotation to respond to critical incidents and ensure platform reliability after the probation period.

Requirements

• Strong experience with cloud platforms, with a strong preference for Azure.
• Demonstrable scripting experience with PowerShell (Python or Bash are also highly valued).
• Strong exposure to cloud native technologies, including container orchestrators, Immutable infrastructure, and Service Mesh.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Azure ARM, or Bicep at scale across multiple regions.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline authoring, specifically using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with observability and reporting tools such as ElasticSearch, Grafana, Prometheus, or Thanos.

Nice to have

• Sysadmin background with proficiency in both Linux and Windows OS.
• Experience with versioning tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.

Hiring process

• 15-minute initial screening call with the Talent team.
• Offline technical assessment followed by a review discussion.
• 90-minute video call with the DevOps team covering technical experience, assessment review, and a joint coding exercise.
• Final video interview with the Platform Engineering Director focusing on tech stack, ambitions, and processes.
