What you will do
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of Account Executives across multiple industry verticals in Italy.
- Own the Italy P&L and deliver against annual revenue targets exceeding $20M.
- Manage the full enterprise sales cycle for CompactifAI, from prospecting to closing multi-million euro deals.
- Engage C-level executives (CEO, CTO, CIO) as a trusted advisor to translate technical AI capabilities into business value.
- Define and execute the Italy GTM strategy in alignment with EMEA commercial goals.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineering and Product teams to refine POCs and the product roadmap.
Requirements
- 15+ years of B2B sales experience, including 7+ years in senior sales leadership (Director/VP level).
- Minimum 5 years of experience selling AI, SaaS, data, or cloud solutions (direct AI selling experience is mandatory).
- Proven track record of closing large enterprise deals in the €300K to multi-million range.
- Fluent Italian and professional English are essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have
- MBA combined with a technical degree in Science or Engineering.
- Understanding of LLMs, model compression, inference optimization, or quantum computing.
- Existing network in Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, Finance, or Energy verticals.
- Experience launching new products or expanding markets in a startup/scale-up context.
