Financial Controller

TL;DR

Financial Controller (Finance): Leading multi-entity reporting and financial control for an international SME with an accent on budgeting, forecasting, and commercial insight. Focus on driving system improvements, managing tax and audit processes, and preparing for transition to Finance Director.

Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site). Office located south of Bristol, near Weston-Super-Mare, Clevedon, and Portishead.

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum

What you will do

• Lead multi-entity reporting and financial control.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and provide commercial insights.
• Manage tax, cash flow, and audit processes.
• Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to contribute to strategic decision-making and business growth.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent.
• Experience moving from Top 10 firms into industry or progressing within an SME.
• Strong financial accounting skills combined with a commercial mindset.
• Must be able to work hybrid (3 days on-site) south of Bristol.
• Motivated by progression to Finance Director.
