What you will do

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and controllership for the hirify.global UK entity.
• Own core monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Partner with third-party accounting firms (e.g., BDO) to support bookkeeping and statutory filings.
• Ensure accounting records and reporting meet local statutory and regulatory requirements in the UK.
• Serve as the primary local point of contact for external and statutory audits.
• Align local accounting treatments with company-wide policies, timelines, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Strong accounting experience in the UK with hands-on knowledge of local statutory requirements.
• Experience managing a UK subsidiary of a global company or working in a multinational environment.
• Solid understanding of monthly close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.
• Must be based in London or able to work closely with the London market.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
