What you will do

• Support attorneys through every phase of litigation, including case management and drafting legal documents.
• Assist with propounding and responding to discovery, such as interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas.
• Manage comprehensive trial preparation, including witness coordination, travel, trial exhibits, and notebooks.
• Independently obtain, review, and organize medical records and calculate damages for medical expenses and lost wages.
• Maintain routine communications with clients, experts, and attorneys regarding case status.

Requirements

• Paralegal certification.
• 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Experience with litigation in the state of California is required.
• Solid understanding of state and federal civil litigation deadlines and rules.
• High proficiency in MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in San Diego, CA.
