Legal Intern

TL;DR

Legal Intern (Fintech): Support Legal and Compliance teams with contract drafting, review, legal research, and day-to-day operations with an accent on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. Focus on developing standard agreements, assisting internal projects on governance, vendor relationships, and strategic initiatives.

Location: New York, New York, United States. Must be authorized to work in the United States. No immigration sponsorship available.

Pay Rate: $2,000 a week

What you will do

• Draft and review contracts, NDAs, and other legal documentation.
• Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, and regulatory topics and prepare memoranda.
• Support development and maintenance of standard form agreements and internal legal resources.
• Assist with legal aspects of internal projects involving corporate governance, vendor relationships, and strategic initiatives.
• Perform ad hoc research projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in accredited law school, completed first year (1L) at internship start; GPA 3.5+ preferred.
• Available full duration: June 15th through August 14th.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship.
• Submit transcript with application.
• Strong interest in corporate law, commercial contracts, or in-house practice.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; organized, detail-oriented.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Co-Pilot).

• Work experience prior to law school.
