What you will do

• Perform hands-on lab characterization and measurement of advanced optical devices.
• Develop Matlab scripts for test automation, simulation, and data analysis.
• Model and simulate electro-optic components and subsystems to predict performance.
• Collaborate with firmware, PCB, and DSP design teams to support system integration.

Requirements

• Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, Applied Math, or related discipline.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and curious approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Demonstrated programming experience in Matlab, Python, C/C++/C#, or Java.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in a hardware lab with test equipment, electronics, or optics.
• Familiarity with electro-optic test methods.
• Knowledge of fiber optic communications or Digital Signal Processing theory.
