Pay Range: $25.00 - $34.00 hourly

What you will do
- Perform hands-on lab characterization and measurement of advanced optical devices.
- Develop Matlab scripts for test automation, simulation, and data analysis.
- Model and simulate electro-optic components and subsystems to predict performance.
- Collaborate with firmware, PCB, and DSP design teams to support system integration.
Requirements
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, Applied Math, or related discipline.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and curious approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated programming experience in Matlab, Python, C/C++/C#, or Java.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience in a hardware lab with test equipment, electronics, or optics.
- Familiarity with electro-optic test methods.
- Knowledge of fiber optic communications or Digital Signal Processing theory.
