Location: Virtual Canada (must live and work from Canada; currently remote from greater Toronto area, transitioning to hybrid with at least 4 days/week on-site once Toronto office is ready)

Salary: CAD 182,580–257,760

What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive functional validation plans for SerDes IP
• Create and enhance validation frameworks, partnering with cross-functional teams on design optimization and failure resolution
• Conduct root cause analysis and systematic debugging of mixed-signal design failures
• Build and maintain post-silicon validation workflows and status reports
• Generate detailed validation reports with testing outcomes and improvement recommendations
• Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, board, platform, and manufacturing teams to optimize debugging and validation processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field + 7+ years relevant experience
• 2+ years experience in SerDes post-silicon validation and debug
• Experience in I/O principles and mixed-signal testing approaches
• Experience in test planning, validation strategy, and post-silicon workflows

Nice to have

• Post-graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related
• Experience with electrical validation and debugging of 224G+ SerDes IP
• Experience developing validation infrastructure and specialized testing tools
• Programming experience with Python, C, C++
