What you will do

• Develop, modify, and review drawings of fire protection systems and components according to standards.
• Prepare plans, specifications, and inspection reports ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in resolving design problems through field investigations, detailed design work, and coordination.
• Identify and reference applicable codes and standards for inquiries and evaluations.
• Conduct basic analyses including building codes, egress, fire detection, smoke control, and sprinkler systems with hydraulic calculations.
• Perform calculations for means of egress, building areas, water supplies, and smoke control equipment.
• Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Working towards Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering from accredited institution.
• Knowledge of engineering principles or construction technology and practices.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, regulations, and journals.
• Intermediate written and oral communication skills for reports, correspondence, and presentations.
• Problem-solving skills to handle practical issues with limited standardization.
• Intermediate PC skills including email, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
• Responsible self-starter able to handle multiple tasks.
