Salary: 145,800 - 194,400 CAD per annum

What you will do

• Develop architecture for functional verification environments, including reference models, bus-functional monitors, and drivers.
• Write comprehensive verification test plans using random techniques and coverage analysis in collaboration with designers.
• Build and tune verification environments to achieve coverage goals and resolve failures.
• Verify boot code and develop tools to streamline the design of state-of-the-art multi-core SoCs.
• Transform engineering requirements into scalable software tools for highly parallel compute environments.
• Execute unit and regression testing of software tools.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science (MS/PhD preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in verification, firmware, and software development (5+ years with MS/PhD).
• Proficiency with System Verilog and UVM.
• Experience building sophisticated directed and random-verification environments.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl and EDA Verification tools.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Linux O.S.

Nice to have

• Strong programming skills in C++ and ARM assembly.
• Understanding of networking protocols.
