Director – Investment Proposition (Asset Management): Shaping and delivering the firm's investment proposition across insured funds, smoothed solutions, OEICs, and Model Portfolio Services with an accent on competitiveness, scalability, and alignment to adviser CIPs/CRPs. Focus on developing multi-year strategy, curating fund ranges, ESG integration, governance, and market-leading adviser communications.
Location: London, Stirling, or Edinburgh (flexible working arrangements considered)

What you will do
- Own development and management of investment propositions across insured funds, smoothed funds, OEICs, and MPS for the UK advised market.
- Create and deliver multi-year investment proposition strategy and roadmap, including smoothed fund rationalisation and integration into adviser CIPs/CRPs.
- Provide market-led input to Life Investment Office for multi-asset solutions and curate internal/external OEIC ranges.
- Collaborate with MPS providers to build complementary smoothed fund MPS offerings.
- Lead on Consumer Duty, conduct governance, ESG integration, and investment communications for advisers.
- Build and lead high-performing proposition team with strong cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Senior leadership experience in investment management, wealth, insurance, or DFM with accountability for multi-asset propositions.
- Knowledge of UK retail investment solutions, adviser ecosystem, and ability to communicate complex concepts to advisers.
- Experience in retirement-focused solutions including decumulation, volatility management, or smoothed outcomes.
- Strategic investment leadership, commercial market awareness, credible authority, strong governance, and people leadership skills.
Nice to have
- Deep experience with multi-asset portfolios in insured funds, smoothed funds, OEICs, risk management, and performance oversight.
- Proven MPS design and governance experience, including in-house or outsourced models.
- Experience leading ESG/responsible investment integration and stewardship.
