What you will do

• Create and execute insurance policies and risk management plans for comprehensive coverage
• Lead insurance renewals, retenders, and negotiations with brokers and insurers
• Administer end-to-end claims processes and onboard new properties to policies
• Advise on insurance matters, contribute to strategic projects, and align with group policies
• Monitor market trends, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate records
• Build stakeholder relationships and leverage systems for reporting and operations

Requirements

• Ability to understand, interpret, and present property and business data for optimal insurance rates
• Experience managing insurance claims processes
• Strong investigative skills and attention to detail for root cause analysis and prevention
• Knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and common law in real estate and affordable housing
• Chartered Insurance Institute membership preferred
• Self-driven, commercially astute, and collaborative with internal and external stakeholders
