What you will do
- Monitor and manage real estate debt assets to ensure performance aligns with objectives and enhance client value
- Analyse financial performance, covenant compliance, borrower statements, budgets and models
- Oversee loan servicing, liaise with servicers and review reports, consents and valuations
- Conduct regular borrower meetings and site visits to discuss operations, risks including ESG factors
- Identify performance issues early, engage with borrowers and implement remedial actions
- Produce portfolio updates, quarterly reviews, focus lists and deep-dive analyses
- Support loan amendments, stressed asset management and broader business initiatives
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience of asset management, loan servicing and credit risk in banks or financial institutions
- Knowledge of real estate debt lending, ideally senior debt; experience in challenging or distressed situations favourable
- Solid working knowledge of legal documentation for real estate transactions (loan facilities, leases etc.)
- Knowledge of real estate, valuations, leases and property documents including ESG and environmental due diligence
- Excellent numerical skills, data handling, credit risk understanding and financial model analysis
- Organised, proactive, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and presentational skills
