What you will do

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements including partnerships, marketing, and SaaS contracts.
• Support corporate transactions and M&A activities.
• Provide compliance advice on payments, financial regulation, and employment matters.
• Collaborate with customer service, marketplace trust, and C-suite teams on legal issues.
• Build relationships across the organization and deliver high-visibility strategic advice.

Requirements

• UK-qualified solicitor with at least 3 years PQE (flexible for strong fits).
• Training at reputable law firm or in-house, preferably tech/scale-up.
• Commercial contracts drafting experience plus one of: M&A, AI governance, disputes, hosted software, payments regulation, or employment law.
• Proactive in using AI tools responsibly for efficiency.
• Strong communicator, adaptable, collaborative, and solution-oriented.

Nice to have

• In-house experience in tech or VC-backed scale-up.
