What you will do
- Lead delivery and maintenance of applications and integrations with hands-on technical leadership including POCs and advisory work.
- Define modern SDLC practices, engineering standards, patterns, and best practices for quality and scalability.
- Set expectations for production ownership, reliability, observability, and incident management.
- Ensure solutions meet security, architecture, and compliance standards with secure-by-design practices.
- Partner with architecture, InfoSec, data engineering, product owners, and change teams to shape roadmaps.
- Manage talent through objectives, performance reviews, coaching, mentoring, and upskilling.
- Foster inclusive culture, knowledge sharing, and manage vendor engagements.
Requirements
- Software engineering experience delivering complex, production-grade solutions.
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards.
- Proven ability to architect, design, build, and run robust solutions.
- Strong engineering practices across requirements, build, test, DevOps, and deployment.
- Strong Microsoft stack knowledge (Angular, .NET Core, SQL Server, serverless).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
- Ability to influence stakeholders and work in Agile teams.
Nice to have
- Insurance or financial services experience.
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of OutSystems.
- Experience using agentic AI in software delivery.
