What you will do

• Lead delivery and maintenance of applications and integrations with hands-on technical leadership including POCs and advisory work.
• Define modern SDLC practices, engineering standards, patterns, and best practices for quality and scalability.
• Set expectations for production ownership, reliability, observability, and incident management.
• Ensure solutions meet security, architecture, and compliance standards with secure-by-design practices.
• Partner with architecture, InfoSec, data engineering, product owners, and change teams to shape roadmaps.
• Manage talent through objectives, performance reviews, coaching, mentoring, and upskilling.
• Foster inclusive culture, knowledge sharing, and manage vendor engagements.

Requirements

• Software engineering experience delivering complex, production-grade solutions.
• Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards.
• Proven ability to architect, design, build, and run robust solutions.
• Strong engineering practices across requirements, build, test, DevOps, and deployment.
• Strong Microsoft stack knowledge (Angular, .NET Core, SQL Server, serverless).
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work in Agile teams.

Nice to have

• Insurance or financial services experience.
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of OutSystems.
• Experience using agentic AI in software delivery.
