Location: Virtual, US. A successful candidate will reside in the Charlotte, NC or Charleston, SC areas. Travel within a designated geographical territory required.

What you will do

  • Drive new business growth and profitability in existing accounts through market and client insights.
  • Serve as strategic sales lead, consulting with owners and C-suite executives.
  • Build and energize referral networks with Commercial Bank partners and execute proactive outreach.
  • Build and manage sales pipeline via referrals and self-generated leads.
  • Partner with sales teams to expand customer relationships and deliver value-driven presentations.
  • Travel in territory to prospect, build relationships, and sign new local businesses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of Merchant Sales Experience; 10 years total sales experience with solution selling into Commercial, Mid-Market, or Enterprise.
  • Deep knowledge of payments industry, Interchange, and gateway connectivity.
  • Track record exceeding sales targets with data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent partner relationship building, prospecting, and territory development skills.
  • Proficient in communicating clearly, managing multiple projects, and resolving client issues.

Nice to have

  • Background in SAAS, Banking, Payables and Receivables.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
