What you will do
- Drive new business growth and profitability in existing accounts through market and client insights.
- Serve as strategic sales lead, consulting with owners and C-suite executives.
- Build and energize referral networks with Commercial Bank partners and execute proactive outreach.
- Build and manage sales pipeline via referrals and self-generated leads.
- Partner with sales teams to expand customer relationships and deliver value-driven presentations.
- Travel in territory to prospect, build relationships, and sign new local businesses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of Merchant Sales Experience; 10 years total sales experience with solution selling into Commercial, Mid-Market, or Enterprise.
- Deep knowledge of payments industry, Interchange, and gateway connectivity.
- Track record exceeding sales targets with data-driven mindset.
- Excellent partner relationship building, prospecting, and territory development skills.
- Proficient in communicating clearly, managing multiple projects, and resolving client issues.
Nice to have
- Background in SAAS, Banking, Payables and Receivables.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
